What are "L" sizes of button?
L stands for Ligne or Line, a historic unit of length used in France representing about 1/40th of an inch. Today it is still used to measure the width of a button at its widest point.
Please note that we adhere to a 5% tolerance in sizing and color for each item. All dimensions specified by us are approximate. The natural variations in the material are not considered faults, but are part of the charm of our buttons. Each one is a little bit special!

We do our best to describe the product's appearance in each description we write. Our observations of the product are done in natural light and we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, in spite of our best intentions, we can never guarantee the exact colours that you see in our product photos due to the simple fact that colour calibrations differ from screen to screen. What happens after I place my order online? ...at We
After your order is placed online, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. If any of your items are out of stock or we are unable to process payment, we will contact you within 2 business days of receiving your order. Â After your order is processed, we will notify you by email when your order has reached our warehouse for picking or delivery. We will also contact you by email when your order is shipped with the relevant tracking information. Please note that our pick-up and delivery schedule is from Monday to Friday. No pick-up and delivery is scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
What if an item I've ordered is out of stock?
Items that are out of stock generally become available again within 15 to 22 working days. With out-of-stock items that need to be manufactured, please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery. We will notify you if an order is going to be delayed for production purposes. We will also notify you with suggestions for a suitable alternative, or a refund if required for buttons that are out of stock, and ship you the remainder of your order. We ship to many countries in the world. Please refer to the full list (link) or if you have any enquiries, please contact us at (email). Shipping is free for all orders over $90 and is calculated after any applicable discounts.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
It usually takes 1-3 weeks, depending on your location. If you're in a large city, it will take around 8-15 days, and if you're in a smaller towns, it might take as long as 22 days. Â However, we are unable to guarantee the arrival time of your order. Â Please note that larger orders, especially orders with a large selection of different types of buttons (10 or more different types) may sometimes take longer to fulfill and can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. You may return most new and unopened items within 7 days of receipt with reason. Please email us "order@buttonandfashion.com" . If you would like to return part or all of your order with the following detail :

Please note that generally, shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount including for orders of $90 or above where shipping charges were originally waived. Returns will also be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee which will be included as credit for your next purchase. Please also refer to "Return Policy"

Where do you ship to?
Once the order is placed and payment received, your order will be regarded as confirmed. Due to our strict production schedules, we do not offer any order cancellation.
Shipping & Handling
Note that there are restrictions on some products and the destinations that we can ship them to. We are providing all of our customers within the US with free Priority Air Mail for orders $90 and above. International shipping is also free for orders $90 and above.
Priority Air Mail  is our US shipping method. Tracking is included free of charge, and a link to where you can track your package will be included in the shipping confirmation email. Following shipping confirmation, you will receive your order within 8 – 15 working days, depending on your proximity to a postal hub.
Worldwide Air Mail is our Global shipping method. We will ship many countries in the world, for free for all orders $90 and above. Following shipping confirmation, you will receive your order within 10 – 22 working days.
